My name is Jason DeFillippo and I've been a photographer since my 15th birthday which was a little over 22 years ago. I'm an advanced amateur who never took the plunge into professional work.
My work has been published in print in Transworld Skateboarding, The New York Times, The Economist, several local news papers and other magazines that escape me at the moment. Online my photos have been seen on dozens of news outlets and personal sites.
I'm also the co-founder of Metblogs and my personal blog can be found at blog.jpdefillippo.com. I also publish my work on Flickr.
Everything on this site has been shot on some version of Nikon cameras and lenses and post produced in Photoshop and Lightroom. Film images were scanned with a Nikon Super Coolscan 5000
You can obtain licenses to use the images on this site by contacting me at jpdefillippo[at]gmail.com. Most work is licensed under a Creative Commons license. Some of the early images have copyright watermarks on them but halfway through this project I decided to open my entire library under the CC license. Please talk to me if you need un-watermarked copies of any image and to make sure you understand the terms of the license.
Thanks for stopping by!
